Lord Jesus Christ, we lift up ourselves in our present state. We pray that we become more responsible in our pursuits, our faith and our prayer life.
In our personal development, as members of our families, employees, and in society, we pray to improve in our duties and responsibilities. May we be more diligent and productive in our contribution.
We pray to keep our eyes, our ears and our hearts from clinging to the things of this world. May we keep our whole being fixed on You, O Lord.
Let us never lose sight of You and let our love for You grow more and more every day.
Bestow upon us, O Lord, a genial spirit and unwearied forbearance. Give us a gentle, kind, loving and patient heart. Bless us with a pleasant, cordial speech and manners.
We pray to be true to all in our words, thoughts and deeds. May we be humble and respectful towards others and honouring God all our lives.

As guided by and directed by the Diocese of Lichfield. St Peter's Church and many other local churches will be throwing open their doors, commencing Thursday the 17th November 2022 between the hours of 10.00am & 3.00pm to invite the local community to join us for a nice hot bowl of soup and a roll plus a cup of tea or coffee. St Peter's Church benefits from a very efficient heating system and our aim is to provide a safe "Warm Space " for sections of the community who may feel vulnerable at this time of their lives, given the economic issues that surround us all. Please feel free to joined us for however long you wish and remember it is FREE. This will recurr every Thursday between those times.
Please be aware that although our heating is very reliable, we cannot 100% guarantee its functionality especially for issues that are beyond our control.

A busy time at St Peter's Church and this time it's our collaboration with the Black Country Foodbank. Marie Weaver and Jan Turner were on hand to hand over two large containers of food and household items. Every one at St Peter's must be congratulated for this fine effort. We are acutely aware of financial hardship in local communities and St Peter's together with many other churches are reaching out a helping hand.
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
A successful Bonfire Evening was enjoyed by many family revellers on Friday the 4th November at St Peter's Church Hall. Many people are to be thanked but a special shout out to Kevin and Jon who worked tirelessly virtually all day to set up the display and man the outdoor food counter. Running out of popular snacks quite quickly. Thanks to the girls who manned ( Is that a word anymore?🙄) the bar where activity was hectic to say the least. Apologies for those I've left out but you know who you are👏 A grand total profit of £840 was raised. We thank all the local patrons who supported us.
