St Peter's is a church of welcome and spiritual encounter for every one in the parish of Greets Green.
Our purpose is simple - serving the needs of others. In a nutshell, we are here for everyone.
St Peter's is a life line in times of desperate need and a partner in love, joy and peace. We provide all you would expect from the local parish church - worship, weddings, baptisms, funerals, home visits, community events and pastoral support in the parish.
We are also here to assist people on their journey of life; always at hand to help you, your family and your children discover the really important thing in life - faith in the Good News of Jesus.
Faith in the words of Saint Paul, ‘is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen’. The predominant influences in western society are misleading people with false promises of the 'visible' - money, possessions, the cult of celebrity, instant everything and the many self-destructive routes to ultimate misery. Christianity on the other hand is a way of living with real meaning and purpose of life.
